Cathy Rainwater has joined the Savannah office of Sterling Seacrest Partners, Inc. as a client service executive, where she will concentrate in employee benefits.

Cathy has over 30 years of experience in the employee benefits practice. She recently worked with BB&T Insurance Services where she served as an employee benefits marketing manager. Cathy has an extensive background that includes experience in individual policies, Medicare, small and large group fully insured, self-funded medical, and the knowledge of ancillary products for employers of all sizes. Cathy’s expertise also expands to assisting clients with implementing the Affordable Care Act in addition to keeping them informed of both regulatory and legislative changes.

Cathy is the past-president of the Coastal Empire Association of Health Underwriters and has served on the Health Insurance Stakeholder Advisory Committee for the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. She has received additional licenses in Property and Casualty, Life and Health, and is certified in self-funding through the National Association of Health Underwriters.
