City to Celebrate Addition to Treat Park Tuesday

The City of Savannah will celebrate an addition to Treat Park with a ceremony on Tuesday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m.
Treat Park is a third of an acre bordered by Treat Avenue and Gable Street. An additional sheltered pavilion will complete the valuable greenspace in the east Savannah neighborhood which already includes a playground with trees and benches. Savannah Gardens, Gordonston and Avondale neighborhoods are in close proximity.
The addition to Treat Park aligns with the priority of Neighborhood Revitalization within the Savannah Forward strategic plan.
