Memorial Health University Physicians | Adult Primary Care Islands recently welcomed Dr. Rush Brown. He joins Dr. Adrienne Fabrizio and Nurse Practitioner Angela Mixon in the practice, which provides healthcare services for adults 18 and older.

The practice, located at 1001 Memorial Lane on Whitemarsh Island, is part of Memorial Health’s 34-practice network of primary and specialty care physicians in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.

A native of Greenville, SC, Brown earned his medical degree and Master of Health Administration degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He did his residency training in internal (adult) medicine at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center in Greenville, SC. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Before joining Memorial Health, Brown was in private practice in Pensacola, FL. Previously, he was an instructor on the faculty of Florida State University School of Medicine in Tallahassee.
