Urgent Care of Sandfly celebrated the grand opening of its new healthcare clinic on Sunday, November 4^th. The newly renovated facility located at 7360 Skidaway Road is open seven days a week; Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Urgent Care of Sandfly treats illnesses, injuries, and common conditions, as well as providing a variety of wellness, diagnostic, and screening services including full x-ray capabilities. The clinic provides patients with health care services including urgent care, primary injury care, physical exams, and travel health, and accepts the majority of all insurance providers.

Urgent Care of Sandfly was founded by Board Certified Physician Assistants Tim Dare and Cory Stanley. Their team consists of an onsite allergy/asthma specialist, orthopedic specialist, and two affiliated physicians; including Physician Assistant Mary Vacala who has been nationally recognized for her involvement in sports medicine and physician assistant studies.

In regards to their mission, Dare said, “We are committed to establishing a relationship between the provider and the patient. By doing so, we feel like this allows our team to provide the community with high quality and convenient healthcare services.”

Urgent Care has an additional clinic approaching its 4^th anniversary located in Berwick at 5730 Ogeechee Road.
