For the 16th year, Georgia Trend magazine has recognized Georgia’s top lawyers in its highly anticipated “Legal Elite” list, published annually in the magazine’s December issue. This year’s honorees represent 16 practice areas from all corners of the state including two lawyers from Oliver Maner, one of Georgia’s highest-rated law firms based in Savannah, Ga.

Hundreds of nominations were submitted to Georgia Trend and only the ones with the most votes by their peers were ultimately selected as this year’s “Legal Elite.” Oliver Maner lawyers named to Georgia Trend’s 2018 “Legal Elite” list include:

Lee A. Summerford, Partner - Tax / Estates / Trusts Law

Paul H. Threlkeld, Partner - General Practice / Trial Law

Summerford and Threlkeld have both been named to Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite” in past years and in several practice areas. Threlkeld is a trial lawyer who maintains a federal and state court trial practice in which he represents businesses, local governments, and individuals in all manner of disputes. Summerford concentrates his practice in the areas of business law and estate planning and includes corporate, partnership and LLC formation, contract preparation and negotiation, sales and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, and succession planning.
