Chatham County Sheriff John T. Wilcher will be awarded the 2019 Champion for Equality Award by Georgia Equality at their 2019 Legislative Preview on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m., located at the residence of host Jamey Espina at 202 W. Bolton St. (at the corner of Bolton and Barnard).
Wilcher is being honored for his efforts to advance fairness, safety and opportunities for LGBTQ people in Chatham County.
