Thursday, February 28th, 2019

Historic Savannah Foundation’s (HSF) 13th Colony will host its annual Architectural Pub Crawl, led by Savannah Tours & Tales guide and owner KT O’Brien, with networking beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

The Architectural Pub Crawl will launch at 6:30 p.m. from ‘The Lost Square’ Rooftop Bar at The Alida Hotel (412 Williamson Street) before continuing to Service Brewery (574 Indian Street) and Ghost Coast Distillery (641 Indian Street). The tour route will highlight architectural points of interest such the Kessler Plant-Riverside Hotel and SCAD’s Adler and Hamilton Halls, calling attention the area’s industrial/warehouse history.

“We’re also excited to introduce a new social media component to this year’s Architectural Pub Crawl,” said HSF Membership and Volunteer Coordinator Chassidy Malloy. “Attendees will be encouraged to share photos throughout the tour, using #myHSF13, and one lucky winner will receive two complimentary drinks and breakfast for two courtesy of The Alida Hotel.” The 13th Colony Committee will select an image based on their overall top pick after the event and the winner will be notified.

HSF is cultivating the next generation of preservation-minded community leaders through its 13th Colony supporters. The mission of the 13th Colony is to promote greater understanding and awareness of historic preservation and the goals of HSF to a younger audience, while also engaging their participation in HSF programs, building future leadership for the nonprofit organization.
