Bernard Williams & Company Announces Additions to its Commercial and Personal Lines, Life and Health Department, and Corporate Office

Bernard Williams & Company, an independently owned insurance company headquartered in Savannah which serves customers in Georgia and the Southeast, announces the following additions to its team.   

Britt Campbell joins Bernard Williams & Company (BWC) as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. Campbell brings eight years of Commercial Lines experience to Bernard Williams.  A Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) candidate, he has completed training in Property, Personal Lines and Agency Management and holds a Property and Casualty license.

Campbell is responsible for the ongoing management of commercial clients as well as the retention of new and renewal clients. He will also support the company’s business development. A Savannah native, Campbell has volunteered with the Second Harvest Food Bank, Coastal Conservation Association and Bethesda Academy.

KC Andrews is now a Commercial Lines Account Executive at BWC.  His responsibilities include attracting and retaining commercial accounts.  Andrews was previously a Producer at Rountree Brady Allstate Agency and he also has several years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including the Hilton Head/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau as well as Westin Hotels and Resorts.  

He earned his Hospitality Management degree from Georgia Southern University (GSU) with a Minor in Business. While at GSU, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and played GSU Club Baseball.  Andrews has been honored as the BNI TGIF Chapter’s Member of the Year and has served on their executive committee as well as being their board president. In his spare time, he is a volunteer coach for YMCA Football and T-Ball.

Jason Shell, as Commercial Lines Account Executive, will focus on generating and maintaining Commercial Lines accounts as well as providing exceptional customer service for current and future clients. Shell’s previous insurance industry experience includes his work as a Personal and Commercial Lines Sales Producer and Manager at Sam Sharpe State Farm. Before working in the insurance industry, he was Upper School Principal at Calvary Day School.

Shell is certified as a CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist). He received his Bachelor of Education degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Georgia (UGA) and Master of Educational Leadership degree from GSU. Shell currently serves on the Savannah Chapter of UGA’s Alumni Association Board.

Jonathan Hathaway has joined BWC as a Personal Lines Account Representative. His responsibilities include supporting new and existing clients with a commitment to servicing their insurance needs and ensuring proper protection of their most valuable assets.

He has more than 13 years of insurance industry experience and most recently was at the Georgia Farm Bureau as a Multi-Line Agent. Hathaway earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from GSU and holds a Certificate of Personal Training as well as Group Fitness Instructor certification through the NCCPT (National Council for Certified Personal Trainers). He volunteers with Xcel Strategies, Inc., a non-profit mentoring network, as the President of its Board of Directors and as Xcel’s Regional Director for Effingham County.

Jenifer Skelton brings 20 years’ experience to her new position as a Personal Lines Account Representative. Skelton focuses on Personal Lines business production for new and existing clients along with the continued servicing of the clients’ coverage.

Prior to joining BWC, she was a New Business Producer with Lee Hill & Rowe Insurors and Producer/Office Manager at State Farm Insurance. She has been a Licensed Agent since 1999 in Property Health and Life Insurance. Skelton studied Business Administration at South University and volunteers with Susan G. Komen and the Ronald McDonald House.

Sandra Schmidt Anthony is now an Assistant Account Manager/Customer Service Representative in the Life and Health Department. Her responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service while assisting the Life and Health team. She is licensed in Life and Health and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and a Minor in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire.

Anthony comes to BWC after a career in Education from Hesse K-8 School, where she was the Administrative Secretary to the Principal for seven years. While at Hesse, she was recognized as Instructional Support Person of the Year. Anthony is currently an Elder at Montgomery Presbyterian Church and chairs its Missions Committee.

Myra Foxworth has an integral role at the company’s corporate office where she serves as Receptionist. She is one of the first persons with whom new and current clients interact. In addition to greeting new customers and addressing new business calls, Foxworth pulls necessary reports, updates the customer lists and administers other duties.  

She was previously Program Coordinator for the State of Tennessee’s Summer Food Services Program. Foxworth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Religion and Philosophy from Florida A&M University as well as a Masters of Theological Studies, Pastoral Care and Counseling from Vanderbilt University. 

Jacob Tinsley is an Administrative Assistant at BWC. In this new position, Tinsley assists all of BWC’s account managers in servicing clients and addressing their insurance needs. He comes to BWC from Northwestern Mutual where he was a Financial Representative.

Originally from England, Tinsley is a Cum Laude graduate of GSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics. Tinsley played golf on GSU’s golf team. While a Collegiate Golfer, he was a 2018 All-American Scholar and was on the Peach Belt Conference Honor Roll in 2017 and 2018.
