J.C. Lewis Ford Hinesville held a ribbon-cutting event on Monday, March 4, to celebrate its newly constructed dealership and Quick Lane® Tire and Auto Center, thank community leaders who helped during the building process and welcome members of the community for tours.

The new 38,000-square-foot facility, located at 309 W. Oglethorpe Highway (within the Historic Downtown Hinesville/Main Street District), features energy-saving solar power and state-of-the art upgrades. Its new Quick Lane center offers service, without appointments, while customers wait and enjoy amenities such as a coffee bar and free Wi-Fi. The spacious facility also includes large meeting spaces that may be used for employee, educational and community purposes.

Special guests and speakers included Allen Brown, mayor of the City of Hinesville; Donald Lovette, chairman of Liberty County Board of Commissioners; and Kathy Villafane, chairman of Liberty County Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Ford Motor Company executives came to meet the people of Hinesville and were greeted with wonderful hospitality — and, with local businesses serving delicious food and the Liberty Melting Pot of Art displaying the work of area artists, the event celebrated the richness of the business, military and creative culture of Hinesville.

“The J.C. Lewis team is proud to serve the city of Hinesville and surrounding areas,” said Walter Lewis, president of J.C. Lewis Ford, whose Savannah dealership has served the community since 1912 and in recent years has expanded with locations in Statesboro and Hinesville. “We work hard to help each customer feel welcome and have an exceptional experience, and our new sales and service facility will help enhance our efforts.”

Later this month, a two-year lease on a new Ford F-150 will be awarded to a member of the community who has graciously volunteered for or donated to a J.C. Lewis Serves beneficiary within the past year. The lucky volunteer will be announced at a sales event at J.C. Lewis Ford in Savannah on March 23. J.C. Lewis Ford will also celebrate the opening of another new facility on Thursday, March 28, at its J.C. Lewis Ford Lincoln location in Statesboro, with a ribbon-cutting event starting at 5 pm.
