Brasfield & Gorrie Honored by National Construction Organization

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie received four national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their 29th annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet on March 27 in Long Beach, California. Brasfield & Gorrie was recognized for its work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including utilities, infrastructure, energy and education.

The company received two first-place Eagle awards and two second-place Pyramid awards.

“We’re grateful for the partnership and trust of our clients,” said Brasfield & Gorrie CEO Jim Gorrie. “Strong collaboration with our clients, employees and trade partners contributed to the outstanding success of each of these projects."

CSX Bayou Sara Swing Span Replacement in Mobile, Alabama, and Kiwanis Centennial Park in Birmingham earned first-place Eagle awards. ABC recognized two projects with second-place Pyramid awards: University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business and Coosa River Dams Aeration Project in Ohatchee, Alabama.
