Friday, May 17, Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan honored Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) by attending and offering welcoming remarks at the school’s annual Honors and Lower School Bridging Ceremony. This ceremony, marking the end of the 2018-19 school year, took place in SCA’s newly restored gymnasium and included presentations from SCA Director Barry Lollis and Dean of Students Allison Maher.

As a father to three boys currently attending school, Lt. Duncan approaches education as a shareholder who is invested in enhancing our education system so that every student acquires the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the 21^st century economy. Lt. Duncan has seen first-hand how access to high-quality learning opportunities and top teaching talent fuels success throughout a student’s educational career.
