Small Business Assistance Corporation Announces New Team Member

A local non-profit economic development organization known as Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) proudly announces the newest member to their team, Meredith S. Cox.
 
Ms. Cox joins SBAC with a wealth of financial knowledge from banking and other financial entities specializing in commercial and construction lending.  She has owned her own small business since the spring of 2018.  A former resident of Columbia, SC and native of the Charlotte, NC area, Meredith attended Presbyterian College from 2000-2004 where she was a successful student athlete playing soccer. After graduating summa cum laude with Honors in Business Administration, she went on to complete SC Banking School at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2009 followed by her Certified Treasury Professional designation in 2016.
 
Ms. Cox’s duties as Business Loan Officer at SBAC will include loan origination and production both in Georgia and in three counties in South Carolina to include Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton counties.
