Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia is hosting our 14th Annual Kids and Clays Sporting Clays Tournament, taking place at the Meadows Gun Club and Shooting School in Forsyth, GA, on September 13 -14, 2019.

Both days are an opportunity for Sporting Clay enthusiasts to compete for a worthwhile cause. The events presenting sponsor is Parrish Construction Group and is supported by the Kids and Clays Foundation. Ronald McDonald House Charities and Kids & Clays Foundation are the official charity of the National Sporting Clays Association, the National Skeet Shooting Association, the Amateur Trapshooting Association and the Scholastic Clay Target Program.

The tournament is a shotgun start format with flights beginning at 8:30 am and 12:30 pm on Friday and at 9:30 am on Saturday. Individual registration for the tournament is $200 per day or $300 for both days. Youth shooters may enter for $150. The event features prizes, prize drawings and giveaways valued at over $40,000.

All proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia. Located a block from the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, and two miles from Coliseum Medical Center, we are able to be part of the compassionate care team providing support to children and their families each and every day. Our House is filled with more than help; it’s filled with hope. Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured child – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. Our Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.

Our House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. We believe that when a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed. Families are stronger when they are together, which helps in the healing process. By staying at the Ronald McDonald House, parents also can better communicate with their child’s medical team and keep up with complicated treatment plans when needed. They can also focus on the health of their child, rather than grocery shopping, cleaning or cooking meals.
