HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently welcomed D. Scott Crawford as an associate in the firm’s Admiralty and Maritime Practice Group. Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Scott served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Eldon E. Fallon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans.

Scott earned his B.A. in International Studies from Baylor University and received his J.D. and Maritime Law Certificate from Tulane University Law School. While attending law school, he served as the senior articles editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, president of the Civil Law Society, treasurer of the Maritime Law Society, and as a member of Judge John R. Brown’s Admiralty Moot Court Team. During this time, he also studied abroad in Rhodes, Greece at the Aegean Institute of Law of the Sea and Maritime Law.
