Recently, Calvary Day School hosted its third annual Walk of Faith, a school-wide event for students to strengthen their faith through prayer and various activities around campus. Activities included outdoor exercises, faith groups, charitable efforts and a paint party.

Monday’s festivities also kicked-off a week-long fundraising campaign to enhance the mission of the school. In total, the students raised more than $40,000 to support the school, double the amount raised during last year’s event. In addition to fundraising, Upper School students donated and packed 215 gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

“We are so proud of our students and their dedication to their faith,” said Gordon Hunter, Director of Development. “This year’s Walk of Faith was an amazing opportunity to see our student body work together and dedicate their time, talent and resources to positively impact themselves, their community and children around the world.”
