Regions Bank Announces Carol Coppola as Savannah Market Executive

Regions Bank on Wednesday announced Carol Coppola will serve as Market Executive for the bank in Savannah, Georgia, and coastal communities of South Carolina, including Beaufort, Bluffton, Ridgeland and Hilton Head.

Coppola is part of a team of Regions financial professionals leveraging their local experience and market insights to expand Regions’ client base while also taking a strategic, proactive role in addressing needs affecting the broader community.

As Market Executive, Coppola will work with colleagues and community members to identify opportunities for the bank to make a meaningful difference through volunteer service, nonprofit support, delivering financial education, and more. Coppola will also serve as Commercial Relationship Manager for Regions, helping deliver financial resources and guidance to businesses and employers across the area.

Coppola brings over 20 years of Savannah-based Commercial Banking experience to her new role at Regions. Most recently, she worked as a Commercial Banker with Ameris Bank. Previously, she served in various Commercial Banking leadership positions for SunTrust Bank. Her career has focused on supporting clients in the manufacturing, retail and service sectors, as well as government entities and nonprofit organizations.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Coppola holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in International Business and Finance. Active in the Savannah community, Coppola is a graduate of Leadership Savannah and Leadership Southeast Georgia. In addition, she serves in leadership roles with several organizations including the Coastal Heritage Society, Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, Rebuilding Together-Savannah, the CFO Council of Savannah, Savannah Sunrise Rotary, the Savannah Propellar Club and Junior Achievement.

As Regions’ Market Executive, Coppola will focus on reaching the objectives of Regions360, the bank’s comprehensive approach to meeting customers’ needs. Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of each customer and collaborate with colleagues from Regions’ various banking departments to develop holistic solutions that are customized for individual clients.

Regions’ local leadership team also includes David Harris, who serves as Consumer Banking Manager overseeing the company’s branch-banking operations in Savannah and southern portions of South Carolina. In addition to Commercial and Consumer Banking, Regions supports clients with Wealth Management services, Mortgage solutions and more as part of the Regions360 approach to service.
