Parker’s – an award-winning convenience, food service, fuel and technology leader – recently unveiled six new Tesla Superchargers at its retail store in Metter, Ga., located just off I-16 Exit 104 at 1118 S. Lewis St. The first V3 Tesla charging site to open in Georgia is strategically situated for drivers traveling between Atlanta and Savannah, providing a fast, convenient charging option.
The new Tesla Superchargers complement two existing electric vehicle charging stations installed on-site by Georgia Power.
“Now, every electric vehicle on the market can be charged at our Metter store,” said Parker’s founder and CEO Greg Parker. “We’re thrilled that the new V3 Tesla charging site features the fastest chargers currently available in the United States. The new Tesla Superchargers offer a tremendous benefit for Parker’s customers and for anyone traveling along the I-16 corridor in a Tesla vehicle.”
These are the first Tesla Superchargers in the Parker’s network, and the company has plans to add additional locations in the future.
“We recognize the shifting fuel demands of our customers and always strive to meet those demands,” said Parker’s President Jeff Bush. “As a larger percentage of our customers begin driving electric vehicles, we want to provide them with a state-of-the-art charging infrastructure at strategic Parker’s locations.”
The Parker’s store in Metter, Ga. also features newly remodeled and expanded restrooms designed to enhance the overall customer experience and to eliminate waiting in line.
Parker’s stands apart as one of America’s most respected convenience store brands. Founded in 1976, the company has earned accolades for its Parker’s Rewards loyalty program, award-winning Fueling the Community charitable initiative, innovative mobile app and acclaimed Parker’s Rewards program, which has saved customers more than $10 million since its inception.
