Senior Citizens, Inc. (SCI), a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for area seniors, recently announced it is seeking homebound adults age 60 and over in Bryan County for participation in its Home-Delivered Meals program. The program delivers both a wellness check and nutritious and locally-prepared meals directly to area seniors.

“At SCI, we recognize the importance of the wellness check and social interaction that goes along with home-delivered meals,” said SCI President Patti Lyons. “We are so pleased to have these funds to help our homebound older neighbors in Bryan County.”

Those over the age of 60 who are homebound or who have great difficulty leaving the home are eligible for the program. Interested applicants can call SCI toll-free at 866-579-2116 or the Coastal Regional Area Agency on Aging at 800-580-6860.
