Barge Design Solutions, Inc. (Barge) celebrated the opening of their newly renovated office in downtown Savannah, Georgia with on Open House on Thursday, March 12th.

Since expanding the firm’s presence in the coastal area in 2016, the Savannah team has grown to four employees with significant projects in the region. These projects include the Broughton Street primed by EDSA, the Tide to Town Urban Trail System, the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens’ Children’s Garden design, and others with the Housing Authority of Savannah, City of Savannah, and Chatham County and nearby cities.

Located in the Realty Building on historic Drayton Street, this office will be the hub for serving our public and private sector clients in the area. Barge is a mid-size, employee-owned firm with a diverse roster of architecture and engineering capabilities. Laura Ballock, licensed Landscape Architect and Savannah Office Lead, shares, “Barge understands the vibrancy of Savannah and the Coastal Empire. We are excited to continue our investment in the region. We are already deeply engaged through organizations such as Leadership Savannah, The Savannah Chamber of Commerce, and the Historic Savannah Foundation, and we are looking forward to growing our involvement.”
