Justin Strickland Joins OmniTRAX to Strengthen Economic Development Team

OmniTRAX, one of the fastest growing railroads in North America and an affiliate of The Broe Group, announces Justin Strickland is joining the company as Director, Economic Development. Strickland, who reports to Vice President of Economic Development Ean Johnson, will support all phases of business growth and act as a liaison with economic development partners in the southeast United States.

"Justin has just about the perfect background for our company – a great mix of public and private sector experience. His business development skills mean that current and potential OmniTRAX clients will be even better served," said Johnson.

Strickland previously spent more than 12 years at the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission (ADEDC) in Albany, Georgia, most recently serving as President. Prior to his role at the ADEDC he was a marketing executive for Community Capital Bancshares, Inc., a multi-state bank holding company.

Strickland has been recognized by the International Economic Development Council as a Certified Economic Developer and was a founder of Locate South Georgia, a regional economic development marketing alliance for South Georgia. He is a member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association, the Southern Economic Development Council, and the International Economic Development Council. He is a graduate of The University of Georgia, and was a member of the 2018 class of Leadership Georgia.
