Two Test Positive for COVID-19 in Bryan County, State of Emergency in Place

As two residents of Bryan County test positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Bryan County is reminding every business and individual to follow the state of emergency resolution passed yesterday which remains in place until April 3, 2020.   The county is maintaining essential services and has detailed protocols in place to protect employees and residents.  All Bryan County departments are following public health recommendations to ensure effective social distancing and has discontinued any gathering of over 10 people.

Bryan County is prepared to handle this state of emergency and remains committed to the wellbeing of every resident.  The county urges everybody to adhere to all regulations to minimize the impact of this public health emergency as it closely monitors the spread of COVID-19. Further adjustments to services and announcements will be made as the county continues to consult with experts in public health to ensure the safety of Bryan County’s staff and residents, while meeting essential needs.
