BankSouth, a leading community bank continuously recognized as a top-performing bank in the country, is pleased to make a $5000 donation to the Educate Chatham Foundation to benefit Savannah Chatham County Public School students.  This donation will be used to provide technology devices for students without access to ensure there is not a  technology barrier for their successful learning.

“This donation will provide access allowing us to meet our scholars where they are for continued learning across all of our digital platforms,” said School Superintendent Ann Levett.  “We are grateful for the support of our community partners and for their generous donations.”

“At BankSouth, we are certainly committed to our community and we feel it is so important to provide our local students with all the tools they need to be successful which is why we are happy to make this donation,” said Kay Ford, BankSouth Savannah Market Advisory Board Chair.

BankSouth has Savannah offices at 18 West Bryan Street on Johnson Square and 613 Stephenson Avenue, Suite 208.  For more information, please visit www.banksouth.com
