Friday, July 24th, 2020
Greenbriar Children’s Center has announced that its two Early Childhood Education programs are accepting enrollment for the fall school year, beginning in August. Greenbriar’s two early childhood education programs are located at Windy’s Preschool, 429 Tattnall St., and W.W. Law Learning Center, 909 E. Bolton St., in Savannah, GA.
Both centers are open from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and offer affordable, Quality-Rated care and education for children ages 6 months to 5 years. The centers use The Creative Curriculum, which is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning.
Both centers offer a sliding fee scale payment plan, which enables low-income family members to go to work and be confident knowing that their child is in a safe, nurturing environment and receiving a quality education. The centers adhere to COVID-19 guidelines established by both the City of Savannah, the Coastal Health District and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Greenbriar Children’s Center is a private, nonprofit organization that focuses on child development and family preservation. They are only one of two organizations in the entire Coastal Empire which offer emergency shelter to children. Additionally, Greenbriar is the only facilitator in our area for Project Safe Place, with locations throughout Chatham County where children can obtain emergency assistance.
