Old Fort Jackson and Savannah History Museum will be temporarily closing to the public beginning Sunday, November 1st. Old Fort Jackson and Savannah History Museum will still be offered as a venue available for private events and booked group tours. Please contact Julia Keating ([email protected]) for more information regarding weddings and events at Old Fort Jackson and Natalie Butler ([email protected]) for weddings and events at Savannah History Museum. For private and group tours at all sites, please email Emily Beck ([email protected]). We look forward to reopening in the spring and seeing you then!

Please note that Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum will remain open to the public Thursday–Saturday from 9:30am-2:30pm. Both sites are large, open air museums that allow for safe social distancing. We will be offering an optional combination admission ticket for both sites. The special discounted ticket for both museums is $17/adult and $13/child. Regular admission to Georgia State Railroad Museum is $11/adult and $7/child and to Savannah Children’s Museum is $8/person (18mos and up). As always, Coastal Heritage Society Members are FREE!

For the safety of all staff and guests, we will be observing social distancing protocols and implementing enhanced sanitizing procedures. Due to the City of Savannah and Chatham County mandates, we are requiring guests to wear masks and adhere to public health safety protocols at all of our sites.
