Savannah State University Names New Director of Marketing and Communications

Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser has been named Director of Marketing and Communications for Savannah State University, effective immediately.

In this role, Lingenfelser will serve as a critical leader within the University’s Department of Marketing and Communications, developing internal and external communications strategies to help increase enrollment, build the University’s brand and advance organization-wide goals.  

“We are thrilled to have Rebekah on our team, and looking forward to the talent she will bring to Savannah State,” said Annette Ogletree-McDougal, vice president of marketing and communications.

A native of Augusta, Lingenfelser brings 15 years of experience in the health care and higher education industries to the position, including her time as director of marketing and public relations for HCA’s Trident Health in Charleston, and manager of internal communications at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in public relations.
