Bank of America has donated 50,000 disposable medical masks, 50 cases of hand sanitizer, and 10,000 gloves to the Savannah Chatham County Public School System. 

“We're grateful for Bank of America's support to help us create a safe environment for our students," Dr. Ann Levett, Superintendent of Schools said. "These critical supplies, combined with basic safety precautions, such as regular hand-washing, masks and social distancing, will help protect our teachers, students, and their families."

Schools throughout the country faced unprecedented challenges as they balanced reopening with protecting students from potential Covid-19 outbreaks. PPE, or personal protective equipment, was in short supply as schools and businesses began to reopen.  SCCPSS is operating under a hybrid model which blends in-person and online learning.
