Savannah Realtor Pam Peterson to Donate Part of Real Estate Commission Proceeds to One Love Animal Rescue

Monday, January 31st, 2022

Award-winning Savannah area real estate agent and Seabolt Real Estate Associate Broker Pam Peterson not only assists buyers and sellers with their property needs; but also has found a volunteer calling apart from her daily real estate career.

This Savannah real estate Top Producer included one of her favorite non-profits, One Love Animal Rescue, in her 2022 New Year’s resolutions. As an animal foster for One Love Animal Rescue, Pam experienced firsthand what the organization, like so many other non-profits, needed the most: What is and continues to be money and volunteers.

Starting in January 2022, Pam will donate $100 from each closed real estate transaction directly to One Love Animal Rescue. These donations will contribute to the all-volunteer run animal rescue budget to help cover medical expenses, food, spay and neuter plus the other extensive rescue operation’s costs. Pam started to get deeply involved in One Love Animal Rescue, after finding an elderly dog, injured and starving on the side of a highway.

Pam rescued the dog, integrated him into the One Love Animal Rescue foster care system and personally provided the dog a foster home. Pam adopted the dog, now named Karl, shortly after, but vowed to help other animals in the same situation. With her New Year’s pledge, Pam is hoping not only to help more animals in need of adoption into a forever home, but also set an example and encourage more people to get involved via volunteering, donations and adoptions. www.oneloveanimalrescue.com

Pam describes her dedication to animal rescue in the following statement: “My passion outside of real estate is animal rescue, fostering and adoption. As a volunteer for One Love Animal Rescue our home has welcomed dogs and cats for short term foster care or in some cases permanent adoption. My wife and I have a full house, or a “mini farm” as friends and family call it that includes one pig, several chickens, our rescue dogs plus one cat. One Love Animal Rescue has given me the opportunity through both fostering and fundraising to meet the ongoing need of homeless animals. It’s been a joy to learn about this incredible organization and actively participate in their mission.”
