VA Southeast Network Announces New Dublin VA Medical Center Director

The Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Manuel M. Davila as the new Executive Medical Center Director for the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, in Dublin, Ga. He will be responsible for a health care system serving nearly 40,000 Veterans at a 343-bed medical center, including a Community Living Center (CLC) and Domiciliary and six Community Based Outpatient Clinics.

“We are excited to bring Mr. Davila on board as the new director of the Dublin VA Medical Center,” said Dr. David M. Walker, VA Southeast Network Director. “His sound leadership qualities and years of healthcare experience will be valuable assets for the facility, the employees and volunteers, and most importantly, for the Veterans we are honored to serve.”

Prior to his appointment, he was the Associate Director for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, New Orleans, Louisiana. Before that, he served as Associate Director at the West Texas VA Health Care System in Big Spring, Texas. 

During his career, he has held various positions within the VA, including Chief of Facilities Management, Chief Biomedical Engineering, Chief Logistics Officer as well as other management roles.
