The Olde Pink House, an iconic restaurant and architectural treasure located at 23 Abercorn St. in the heart of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District, is delighted to host a special Casa Herradura Tequila Dinner on Thursday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a selection of tequila cocktails followed by a tequila and food pairing with reposado, blanco and ultra tequilas that have been expertly crafted by Casa Herradura in Guadalajara, Mexico.

In addition, Casa Herradura Global Brand Ambassador Ruben Aceves will discuss each expression of tequila highlighted for the evening, offering insight into the agave cultivation and production process as well as the remarkable history of these award-winning spirits. A proud native of Guadalajara, Aceves has served as the director of international brand development for Casa Herradura since 2000 and is well-versed in the history of the Hacienda of San Jose del Refugio, the birthplace of Casa Herradura, which hosts more than 60,000 visitors a year.

For the past seven years, Casa Herradura has crafted an exclusive, double barrel reposado that is only available at The Olde Pink House and Garibaldi in Savannah.

“We’re delighted to host an elevated tequila dinner at The Olde Pink House and invite Savannah residents and visitors to join us on August 11,” said Craig Jeffress, general manager at The Olde Pink House. “This event will offer an ideal opportunity to learn more about the history of this amazing spirit and to enjoy a delicious menu with innovative tequila pairings.”
