Step One Automotive Group and community partner St. Joseph's/Candler Telfair Mammography Fund will unveil an all new 2022 pink Wagoneer in a fundraising campaign for Paint the Town Pink. With a goal of 6,000 signatures to equal a $6,000 donation, Step One will dedicate the month of October to meeting these goals. The pink Wagoneer will be unveiled at 11:00am onFriday, September 23rd at the Step One Auto’s 1011 Chatham Center Drivelocation.

“Together we continue to help raise awareness and drive out breast cancer. Last year’s campaign showed us that this fun and different idea would be the most engaging way we could support this momentous cause,” shares Step One Marketing Manager Maja Ciric. “The pink Wagoneer will be on the showroom floor of Step One Automotive locations and at community events around Savannah and Brunswick collecting signatures. We hope that our vibrant pink vehicle brings attention to this worthy foundation and their mission.”

“Each October we are grateful to work with organizations like Step One Auto for Paint the Town Pink to raise money for the Mammography Fund, which ensures those in our community, who are uninsured or underinsured, receive needed mammograms and other breast health services. In 2021, the Mammography Fund provided 522 screening mammograms, 49 diagnostic mammograms, 31 breast ultrasounds, 11 breast biopsies and had 615 images evaluated by radiologists,” shares Vernice Rackett, Executive Director for St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations.

After the success of last year’s campaign in Georgia, Step One Automotive Group decided to have three pink wrapped vehicles in all the markets they operate this October in Georgia and Florida and Alabama as well.
