Founder and CEO, Eric Lukkarinen was a soldier in the U.S. Army until 2001. After completing his service, he became a realtor with a focus on residential sales and soon developed expertise in military sales with use of VA loan packages and overall income-producing real estate management. This led him to set up American Veteran Properties in 2021 in Georgia, with a focus on the specific needs of military families, especially regarding military PCS/relocations. Lukkarinen is committed to providing career opportunities to other veterans after their service ends by having them join his team.

Carraway enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps and has served as an air traffic controller for the last five years. Having been previously stationed at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar in San Diego, CA and MCAS Beaufort in Beaufort, SC, Carraway has firsthand insight into the stressors that go along with PCS moves and ensuring that the home buying process is as easy as possible for her fellow military community.
