The Westin Savannah Harbor is pleased to announce the launch of three initiatives designed for all who visit and live in Savannah: The return of First Friday Oyster Roasts, The Westin Beach Club at Bloody Point, and Whitman Yacht Private Charters.
First Friday Oyster Roasts
On May 1st, First Friday Oyster Roasts return to The Westin Savannah Harbor for all of Savannah to enjoy. We invite everyone to take the Free Ferry from River Street, sail to the Westin Marina, or park at the hotel to enjoy this local favorite. Guests delight in specialty cocktails, enjoy coastal cuisine like oysters, Lowcountry boil and BBQ, dance to live music on the Riverfront Esplanade and catch the best views of the sunset and fireworks! Attendees can also browse Savannah’s finest local artists and shops, right on the Savannah River! Join us every First Friday from 6:30-9:30pm through November for great food, great fun and spectacular views. The Trainwrecks will headline the kick-off on May 1st.
The Westin Beach Club at Bloody Point
Savannah’s Resort will also continue its successful partnership with Bloody Point Golf Club onDaufuskie Island. Having successfully completed the 2014 Westin Beach Club program the two entities will now offer even better opportunities to explore both properties this season.
Effective April 1st, all can partake in an excursion that is unique to The Westin Savannah Harbor—The Westin Beach Club at Bloody Point. Guests enjoy a scenic cruise down the Savannah River catching glimpses of natural wildlife on a voyage to Daufuskie Island—only accessible by watercraft. Arriving at the newly reimagined Bloody Point Golf Club, guests enjoy the best of island lifestyle. Guests have access to private lockers, the Bloody Point beach-side pool, and a secluded beach with reserved Westin lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. Guests can also golf of the newly reimagined course or take golf carts to explore the historic and natural sights around the island—like the Eagles Nest. The Whitman Yacht Charters
The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa is also excited to embrace its new relationship with The Whitman Yacht. The two organizations celebrated the partnership at a Launch Party at the Resort on March 31st. The yacht is available for private charter by the half day, day, week or longer and is ideal for two to six guests. Prices begin at an affordable $750 for a half day for up to six guests.
