Upper East River Sells Out Of All Move-In Ready Homes

Staff Report

Upper East River, Savannah’s newest - and last - riverfront neighborhood on the East End of historic River Street, announces this week that they are sold out of all move-in ready homes. That’s 33 homes already sold and robust pre-sales continue for homes under construction.

As of December 31, 2020, the Upper East River sales team has closed on and sold all twenty two brownstone townhomes, known as the Adler style home. These two and three bedroom residences, priced from the high $600’s, are reminiscent of the city’s historic row houses and whisper of their region and namesake, inviting new stories within their walls.

The focus now, for the Upper East River sales team, is pre-sale of the four other home styles under construction. The opportunity to purchase a new home on the river in historic Downtown Savannah is becoming more and more scarce.

“This is a one of a kind opportunity to own a new home on the riverfront in Savannah’s historic district,” says Upper East River developer, Patrick Malloy. “What more could you ask for? Buyers at Upper East River are a part of building Savannah’s history! This is why we believe the move-in ready homes were off the market in a flash.”

Of the inventory being built in the Upper East River neighborhood, (the J.J. Corry Warehouse Conversion homes, the River Homes, and the Mayors) many are already sold. The entire first phase of the River Homes, priced at $2 million, are completely sold out and construction has just begun. These are the first new homes to be built downtown actually on the Savannah River in over 200 years.
