Tournament officials announced today that the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club will host the second annual Fairways Fore Change event on Tuesday, March 29, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Palmetto Clubhouse at The Landings Club.

This special event is designed to support inclusivity and diversity in golf by addressing the barriers that exist to making the sport accessible to everyone.

“Helping to grow the game of golf and provide more access to this great sport, in Savannah and beyond, is a central mission of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club,” said Tournament Director Cheyenne Overby. “Fairways Fore Change provides a perfect platform for us to host some of golf’s leading dignitaries and help shine a light on the obstacles that stand in the way of that goal.”

Fairways Fore Change 2022 welcomes featured guests Alex Baldwin, president of the Korn Ferry Tour, Nina Boone, Korn Ferry’s North American Leader for Diversity & Inclusion, and Suzy Whaley, a past president of the PGA of America.

“Fairways Fore Change is an inspirational program aimed at breaking down barriers and making the game of golf more inclusive and accessible for everyone,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. “That is a significant priority for us on the Korn Ferry Tour, and I’m honored to be a part of Fairways Fore Change – and surrounded by some of the foremost leaders in this space – as we all do our best to make the game of golf more diverse moving forward.”
