Leaders from across the nation will come together on November 12, 2013, at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta for the 4th annual Health IT Leadership Summit. This year’s event, which will highlight technology’s role in revolutionizing healthcare, will bring together healthcare providers, vendors, government representatives and academic leaders to discuss the healthcare industry’s constant state of change in light of ongoing healthcare reform.

“The healthcare industry is fast approaching revolutionary changes in response to the Healthcare Reform Act, an aging population, and epidemic levels of chronic disease,” notes Wayne Myers, 2013 Summit Chair. “The Summit will once again showcase industry-leading organizations, senior executives, and thought leaders at the heart of that transformation. With the support of returning Headline Sponsor Verizon, as well as McKesson and Intel, the Summit will offer attendees a unique setting in which to discuss industry challenges affecting nearly every facet of the industry – new care delivery models, patient engagement, and health insurance exchanges, to name a few.”

Attendees will experience a full day of informational sessions, exhibits and networking opportunities, all powered by the underlying role technology will play in moving healthcare forward. In addition to its sponsors, the Summit is supported by a founding partnership that includes the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Technology Association of Georgia’s Health Society.
