Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP, the largest Georgia-headquartered tax, accounting and business consulting firm, in partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Kennesaw State University, and the Georgia Department of Labor, released into the field today the 2014 Georgia Manufacturing Survey.

This bi-annual survey is conducted to develop benchmark information that will help Georgia manufacturers be more competitive and improve state business and technology services to the industry. This year's survey theme is Collaborative Innovation and will look at how collaboration takes place in the manufacturing industry.

Georgia manufacturers are encouraged to complete the survey packet mailed to them directly or to take the online survey at http://www.gms-ei2.org/.

The survey analyzes organizational changes and challenges, the development and improvement of products and processes, the use of new technology, outsourcing, re-shoring and financing, among other items.

"As the manufacturing industry continues to thrive, and as new manufacturing plants and jobs come to Georgia, the information garnered by the bi-annual Georgia Manufacturing Survey, provides Georgia manufacturers with crucial industry data that they wouldn't be able to get anywhere else," said Adam Beckerman, partner-in-charge of the manufacturing & distribution group at HA&W. "The data collected enables Georgia manufacturers to make better business decisions."
