University of Phoenix Savannah Campus Hosts Time Management Event

WHAT:

“Running out of time” is a common theme when juggling multiple priorities at work, school and home. While the ability to master time management is not easy, it can be achieved by adapting the right time-management strategy. To help attendees take back control of the clock and make each day more productive, University of Phoenix is hosting a free Time Management Event featuring local faculty who will share practical strategies and ideas via the following activities:
  • Panel Discussion – Attendees will learn strategies and tools to help them combat daily distractions and improve productivity, including the Three R’s: Regroup, Reorganize and Reprioritize. Panelists include:
  • Lujiang Fang, MA, MS, University of Phoenix Faculty, College of Social Sciences
  • Felix Figuereo, MBA, Business owner and University of Phoenix Lead Faculty Area Chair, College of Humanities and Sciences
  • Berta Ganaway, MBA, Entrepreneur and University of Phoenix Lead Faculty Area Chair, School of Business
  • Angela Lindsay, MA, School Psychologist and University of Phoenix faculty, College of Social Sciences

Moderator: Rodney Sprauve, JD, Attorney and University of Phoenix Lead Faculty Area Chair, College of Humanities and Sciences

  • “Your Time Management Personality” Workshop – Presented by Ami Taharka, MS, Faculty, College of Social Sciences; attendees will learn the characteristics, strengths and challenges of their individual time management personality and how to overcome roadblocks in order to be more productive. 
  • Networking Forum – At the conclusion of the evening,  attendees can employ new strategies learned by getting organized at work and home, creating goals and utilizing list-making applications to help them stay focused at work, school or home.
