The Sun City Hilton Head Community Association is pleased to announce that it has received Association Media & Publishing’s Bronze EXCEL Award in Promotional Publications, Special Report: Print for its 2013 Hurricane Preparedness Guide. The Sun City Hilton Head Community Association was recognized at Association Media & Publishing’s 34th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala, May 19 at the Sheraton Premiere, Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Receipt of the EXCEL Award demonstrates the Sun City Hilton Head Community Association’s commitment to excellence in communicating with residents about preparing for hurricane season. The Hurricane Preparedness Guide is published annually and includes information from local and national organizations about what to do before, during and after a storm. Judges said that the guide contained “excellent, useful and easy to follow content.” 

The EXCEL Awards Gala is held in conjunction with Association Media & Publishing's 2014 Annual Meeting. Designed with a deep commitment to meeting the needs of association media and publishing professionals, the conference highlights effective practices, practical ideas, and innovative solutions in sessions covering business strategy; content; delivery, design and engagement; and non-dues revenue.
