Coastal Georgia National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is excited to announce the induction of our newest members, Lisa Dixon from Pace Lighting and Shannon Yarborough from Pace Electrical Contractors.

Lisa Dixon is a graduate of the University of Georgia and spent several years working in non-profit association management prior to moving to Savannah in 2009 to work at Pace Lighting.  Lisa is currently the General Manager of Pace Lighting after spending several years as the Showroom Manager.  Lisa and Pace Lighting hope to gain a great network of industry contacts from NAWIC in addition to the valuable education opportunities that membership in NAWIC offers.  With her background in non-profit associations, Lisa is keenly aware of the important role membership associations like NAWIC play in our industry, and she looks forward to being an active participant.  If you’d like to learn more about Lisa and Pace Lighting, she can be reached at [email protected] or 912-920-4090.

Shannon Yarborough is a Savannah native and graduate of Armstrong State University.  Shannon has worked at Pace Electric since 2006 and has progressed in her career from Service Assistant to Purchasing Agent and Assistant Project Manager for Pace.  After spending many years in the construction industry, Shannon is looking forward to learning even more about other trades and the challenges that are unique and specific to all of us as women in construction.  If you’d like to learn more about Shannon and Pace Electric, she can be reached at [email protected] or 912-920-7324.

If you are a woman who works in a construction related industry, NAWIC is an outstanding opportunity that provides unlimited value for both you and your company.  Chapter involvement yields opportunities in networking, personal and professional growth, and community outreach.  For membership information, contact Vickie Callaway at 912-655-1934 or [email protected]
