USCB Chancellor Search Committee Encourages Community Input

The University of South Carolina Beaufort is inviting the public to participate in the search for a new chancellor. The search was prompted by a recent announcement by USCB Chancellor Jane T. Upshaw, Ph.D., that she would retire on Aug. 15 of next year.
 
The search for only the second chancellor in the university’s storied history is being conducted by Parker Executive Search of Atlanta. Parker is a global search firm that is engaged in senior-level search assignments in the areas of academic health sciences and health care, corporate, higher education, and sports. It has conducted more than 500 successful searches for senior-level positions in the realm of higher education.
