Five Pros in the Top 20 on the FedExCup Points List Have Committed to RBC Heritage

Five young PGA TOUR pros who are in the top 20 on the FedExCup points list have committed to the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. Sangmoon Bae, Daniel Berger, James Hahn, Charley Hoffman and Robert Streb will all compete in South Carolina’s signature golf event, April 13-19 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.

They are joined by defending champion Matt Kuchar and past champions Graeme McDowell, Aaron Baddeley, Stewart Cink, Glen Day, Jim Furyk, Justin Leonard, Davis Love III, Carl Pettersson, Brandt Snedeker, Tom Watson and Boo Weekley. Other notables committed are Luke Donald, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Brian Harman and Charl Shwartzel.

Bae is ranked 10th on the FedExCup points list.  The South Korean has two wins on the PGA TOUR including this season’s Frys.com Open.  He has also played on the Korea, Japan and Asian Tours, earning 12 International victories.  He will be making his third start at Harbour Town.

Berger is ranked 18th on the FedExCup points list.  The Florida native attended Florida State University before turning pro. He earned a second place finish at this year’s Honda Classic after a playoff with Padraig Harrington. He will be competing at the RBC Heritage for the first time.

Hahn is ranked 15th on the FedExCup points list.  The South Korean graduated from the University of California-Berkeley before turning pro.  His first PGA TOUR win came earlier this year at the Northern Trust Open.  He will be making his third start at the RBC Heritage.

Hoffman is ranked 12th on the FedExCup points list.  He grew up in San Diego and graduated from the University of Nevada in 2000.  He has earned three PGA TOUR victories including the 2015 OHL Classic at Mayakoba.   He has finished in the top-ten twice in five starts at the RBC Heritage.

Streb is ranked 5th on the FedExCup points list.  The Oklahoma native graduated from Kansas State University and turned pro in 2009.  He carded his first PGA TOUR win at this season’s McGladrey Classic.  He will be making his second appearance at Harbour Town.
