Savannah's 2015 Candidate Class for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Announced

 The Savannah Office of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the 2015 Man & Woman of the Year candidates. Twelve outstanding local community and business leaders are vying for the title this third annual campaign year.  In the Man & Woman of the Year campaign, candidates compete in honor of local children who are blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. The men and women strive to achieve their personal best by working with their family, friends and contacts to raise as much money as possible for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The titles are awarded to the man and woman who raise the most funds in a ten-week period. The top fundraisers in the country win the national titles. Last year’s Savannah Man & Woman of the Year titles were awarded to Michael Caputo of Starkey Mortgage and Jessica Neeley of Workmen’s Circle Credit Union.

The 2015 Savannah Man & Woman of the Year class includes the following individuals:

“The Man & Women of the Year campaign is a great way for candidates to network with other influential people in their communities while also providing assistance and hope to thousands of blood cancer patients,” said Dana Whitfield, Savannah Area Director for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter. “Candidates showcase their fundraising and community outreach skills as well as their commitment to the cause.”

The Savannah Man & Woman of the Year campaign kicked off on Thursday, March 26th at Critz BMW and will culminate at the Grand Finale Gala event on Friday, June 5th at Savannah Station.
