Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District, a boutique hotel located in vibrant City Market in downtown Savannah, Ga., was honored by the publishers and editors of ConventionSouth. The national multimedia resource for planning events held in the South recently presented Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District with a 2017 Top New or Renovated Meeting Site Award.

“ConventionSouth readers are constantly seeking information on the newest and like-new meeting sites in the South in order to offer their attendees the most modern facilities available, and this is why we are honored to bestow Hotel Indigo Savannah with a Top New or Renovated Meeting Site Award,” said ConventionSouth Associate Publisher Marcia Bradford. “After a lengthy review of what Hotel Indigo Savannah now has to offer meeting planners and attendees, we feel it indeed displays a superior commitment to providing groups with the top-of-the-line amenities and service that they require.”

“We are delighted to receive such an incredible honor from ConventionSouth and to be included with such highly-esteemed company,” said Hotel Indigo Savannah General Manager Michael Cooper. “Not quite one year into the thriving Savannah market, Hotel Indigo Savannah is looking forward to growing our boutique brand recognition in the area and sharing Indigo’s unique ‘neighborhood’ hotel experience with future meeting planners and attendees.”

Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District is among an elite list of 55 meeting facilities located across the South to receive this year’s Top New or Renovated Meeting Site Award and the only hotel included from Savannah, Ga. As part of the recognition, Hotel Indigo Savannah is also featured as an award recipient in the December 2016 Awards Issue of ConventionSouth magazine. “Featuring peer advice and trade secrets, our Awards Issue is one of the most popular must-read resources within the meetings industry,” Bradford said.
