Mayor Eddie DeLoach, members of City Council and City Manager Rob Hernandez announced the launch of Savannah Forward today, the City of Savannah’s strategic planning process.

“A City as great as Savannah deserves to be named among America’s best places to open a business and buy a home, in addition to being named among the best places to visit,” said City Manager Rob Hernandez. “To help develop Savannah Forward, we need our residents and business owners to tell us what matters most.”

A series of community meetings will be held in May throughout Savannah’s six aldermanic districts to gather public feedback. This input will help create a short- and long-term plan for the City organization to make Savannah the best mid-sized city in America.
