High school students Albert Grandy and Abigail Kahn, both rising juniors at Savannah Country Day School, recently attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth 2017 Georgia-Southeast Leadership Seminar at Georgia College in Milledgeville.  The three-day leadership conference, June 9-11, hosted more than 145 high school sophomores for an opportunity to participate in hands-on group activities and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their community.

“I’m thrilled that Albert and Abigail had the opportunity to attend HOBY’s flagship program, “ enthuses Jonathan Day, Head of Upper School at Savannah Country Day School. “I appreciate that they, like so many of our students, use the summer break to seek out new experiences and make a positive impact on our larger community.”
