The Georgia Department of Labor’s Savannah Career Center will host a recruitment for Coca-Cola Bottling Company to hire about 20 employees to work in Savannah.

The recruitment will be held on Friday, July 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the career center located at 5520 White Bluff Road in Savannah.

The company is recruiting delivery merchandisers, material handlers, merchandiser trainees and service technicians. The merchandiser trainees will be large store and weekend-only employees.

All applicants are required to have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma. They also must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have the ability to work long hours.

Applicants for the material handler, merchandiser trainee and service technician positions must be at least 18 years old. The merchandiser trainees must have at least three months of related training or experience. The service technician position requires applicants to have a Class C commercial driver’s license and least six months of related experience.

The delivery merchandiser position requires applicants to be at least 21 years old and have a Class A CDL.

Applicants should be prepared for onsite interviews and be available to begin work as soon as possible. The employer is interested in applicants who can start within one to two weeks after the event.
