For the second year in row, JE Dunn Construction is providing paid summer internships to high school students participating in the “Summer 500” jobs program operated by the City of Savannah.

Students Jessica Knight and Emmanuel Johnson are JE Dunn’s Summer 2017 interns. Knight is employed at the Spencer Elementary School project jobsite, and Johnson is assisting staff in JE Dunn’s Savannah office.

“The Summer 500 initiative connects students not only to summer employment, but also to unique opportunities to gain experience in fields and professions they have declared of interest,” said JE Dunn Vice President and Division Manager Ryan Price. “JE Dunn Construction is proud to be among the Summer 500’s participating organizations.”

Summer 500, established in 2016, matches qualifying students from Chatham County private and public schools with a variety of positions from participating companies and other organizations. The program runs eight weeks, June through July.
