Brad Buckler, M.D. has been named the Physician-in-Chief for the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah. Buckler is a practicing neonatologist and corporate medical director for MEDNAX, Inc. / Pediatrix Medical Group of Georgia.

I have personally known Brad for many years and I am confident he will provide strong, visionary leadership for the Willett Children’s Hospital,” said Ramon Meguiar, M.D., senior vice president and chief medical officer for Memorial Health. “We look forward to working with him as we continue to provide high-quality care for the children of our region.”

Buckler is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his pediatric residency and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia Children’s Medical Center. He has practiced in Memorial’s Level III neonatal intensive care nursery since July 2010. Buckler serves as the medical director for our neonatal transport services and is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at both the Medical College of Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine – Savannah Campus. He is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Section of Perinatal Pediatrics.
