Gaslight Group Promotes Culture of Giving, Over $50k Donated Back to Community in 2017

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Tuesday, January 9th, 2018

Since forming Gaslight Group, the parent brand to five restaurants and bars in Savannah, Ga., over a decade ago, founders Brian and Jennifer Huskey’s staunch commitment to giving back to the community in which they do business has always been a top priority. Last year, that commitment culminated in over $50,000 of donations and in-kind services to a long list of area nonprofits and organizations who rely on the generosity of others to make ends meet.

“It’s truly a pay-it-forward mentality around here,” said Brian Huskey. “From our chefs to general managers, wait staff to our hosts, we all have a say in how we give back. Some of our folks have ties to certain causes and we always try to find a way to do something for them. At the end of the day, it really comes down to doing good, feels good, and I think our team across all of our restaurants feel that way too.”
