The 62nd Annual Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Announced

The 62nd Annual Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at Macon’s historic City Auditorium on February 24th. Members of the Class of 2018 being inducted into the Hall of Fame are: football player Champ Bailey, golfer Terri Moody Hancock, golf coach Chris Haack, track athlete Angelo Taylor, football player Tracy Rocker, basketball player Kenny Walker, real estate developer and sports pioneer Tom Cousins, and businessman and philanthropist Arthur Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons. The weekend will begin with the GSHF Golf Classic at Idle Hour Country Club on Friday, February 23rd, and the GSHF’s annual FanFest will be held Saturday afternoon the 24th from 1 pm-2:30 pm at the museum. The Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 24th at the Historic Macon City Auditorium with a cocktail reception at 5:30 pm downstairs and the dinner and ceremony/banquet at 6:30 pm in the main room upstairs.
